UDUGU FEST

We are building a place to come alive together.

A co-creative celebration for gay, bi, trans & queer men, rooted in embodiment, creative expression, and playful connection.

July 30 – August 2 · Amara Valley · Near Barcelona

UDUGU FEST is a place to come alive together.

A summer gathering for gay, bi, trans & queer men to celebrate and meet one another through embodied exploration, creativity, shared presence and play.

Held at Amara Valley in the heart of summer, UDUGU FEST opens a wider field of encounter, where individuality is welcomed and collective experience is deeply honored.

We’re not trying to build something impressive.

We’re trying to build something true.

Summer opens the body and loosens the edges.

Long days, warm nights, color, movement, skin meeting air, skin meeting skin. It’s a time when we naturally soften, become more playful, and feel more available to ourselves and to each other.

We chose this season intentionally, inviting us to meet the sun, the land, and one another with openness, curiosity, and a sense of adventure.

Why This Festival Exists

UDUGU FEST was born from a growing need within our community.

Over the years, UDUGU has brought men together in intimate spaces of awareness, healing, and connection. As the community grew, so did the longing for something more expansive, a place where joy and depth could meet, where self-expression could unfold freely, and where we could experience ourselves as part of something larger, without losing care or intention.

This festival is simply our way of responding to that call.

A space to celebrate, experiment, express, and build something meaningful together.

The Spirit (What We Value)

UDUGU FEST is guided by a few simple principles that shape how we gather:

Authentic Self-Expression

Showing up honestly, creatively, and in your own way.

Consent

Clear, ongoing, and respectful in all interactions.

Inclusion

Honoring the diversity of bodies, identities, and lived experiences.

Self-Responsibility

Caring for yourself, others, and the shared field.

Care for the Land

Gathering with respect and leaving no trace.

These values live in how we relate, not just in what we say.

The Experience

UDUGU FEST unfolds across different spaces, each holding its own rhythm and quality. You’re invited to move between them freely, guided by curiosity and what feels right for you in each moment.

Movement & Embodiment

Yoga, guided movement, intuitive flow, and dance practices.

Creative & Expressive Spaces

Workshops, performances, playful experiments, and co-created offerings.

Celebration & Music

Dance floors, live music, rituals, and shared moments of joy.

Connection & Conversation

Circles, talks, reflection, and spaces for honest dialogue.

Water & Rest

Time by the pool, pauses for integration, and simple ease with nature’s silence.

Sensual & Erotic Exploration

A clearly marked, curated space for those who feel called to explore sensuality and erotic connection. Held with strong agreements around consent, presence, and care.

Participation is always optional.

Care, Consent & Safety

UDUGU FEST is held within a clear container of care and responsibility.

We believe meaningful freedom arises when everyone takes responsibility for their actions, boundaries, and impact. Consent, clear communication, and emotional awareness are central to how we gather.

We ask everyone to:

  • Practice clear, ongoing and explicit consent

  • Respect personal and collective boundaries

  • Take responsibility for their own well-being

  • Engage with curiosity, care, and respect

A dedicated care structure will be present throughout the festival.

All participants receive a Festival Guidebook after registration with detailed agreements and practical guidance.

Co-Creation & Experimentation

UDUGU FEST has a curated core program held by an experienced team. Alongside this, we invite a limited number of participants to offer workshops, practices, or creative contributions.

There is room for experimentation, creative exploration and ideas that are playful, unconventional, or difficult to categorize as long as they honor the festival’s spirit and values of care, consent, and respect.

The People Holding This

UDUGU FEST is held by a collective of collaborators, facilitators, artists, and space-holders, each bringing their own voice, practice, and creative spark.

Alongside the core team, invited facilitators and selected co-creators help shape a program that is intentional, diverse, and alive.

This is a shared creation, held by many hands.

Rooted in years of shared experience and collaboration at Amara Valley, UDUGU FEST is a natural expansion of what we’ve been cultivating together.

Inspired by co-creative festival cultures, while grounded in our own identity, UDUGU FEST offers an alternative without competition, but to gather with honesty, care, and joy.
